In DocuSign, the recipient preview does not accurately reflect document visibility settings for witnesses. Internal documents that should be hidden from an external witness appear visible in preview mode but are hidden in reality, causing confusion for senders. DocuSign Support has already confirmed this is not a bug but a design limitation, as certain account settings and flags are not passed to recipient preview. We request an enhancement to align the recipient preview experience with the actual signing session for witnesses, ensuring document visibility settings are accurately represented and preventing misinterpretation during envelope setup.
