We are currently integrating DocuSign with Salesforce and have identified a gap related to the Recipient Status value “Auto Respond.”
Current behavior:
- In DocuSign, some recipients are marked with the status “Auto Respond.”
- However, in Salesforce, the Recipient Status is only updated as “Sent.”
- Because Salesforce never receives the actual “Auto Respond” status, we cannot implement or validate custom trigger logic based on that event.
Requirement: -
We need DocuSign to send some identifiable event, payload attribute, webhook notification, Connect event, or recipient status update to Salesforce whenever a recipient enters the “Auto Respond” state.
Expected enhancement options: -
Expose “Auto Respond” as a valid Recipient Status in Salesforce.
- Publish a dedicated webhook/event notification for Auto Respond actions.
