Customers need a way to measure activity on documents -
One measure is workflow time (start to finish).
You log workflow stages and report on that.
But another quick metric to review would also be the document version, where higher version numbers imply more rework.
Several customers have also expressed and interest in logging changes made during certain phases of a process.
Without access to the document version - it is difficult to perform these analysis.
