Adding up and down arrows to make a text box square

This feature used to be standard, but it’s since been removed. It’s very hard to make a text box fit a specified box on a form (ex: W-4).  The arrows that are currently available do not help me at all.  

Please bring back the up and down arrow feature on text boxes. Thank you.
