Data field size limit?

I have a form with a data field on it. I want my signer to enter information in the data field but the information might be 1 sentence, it might be several paragraphs. The field seems to limit the amount of information that can be added into it to just the size of the box. Is there any way to make the field accept additional text?

You can adjust the size of the date field by clicking and dragging the tab's "arrow" icon, resizing it to fit the space you choose. Alternatively, you can click the "gear" icon to open up the tab's properties dialog. Click the Formatting Pallette drop-down and you will see a place to enter number of lines and characters per line.
