How to Get and Setup Your Integrator Key

Are you developing an integrated solution to use DocuSign services, but unable to test your API even though you’ve already setup your API credentials?  You may just be missing your Integrator Key.

Follow the steps below to request your API Integrator Key and set it up in your API calls:

  1. Login to your demo account at
  2. Go to Preferences, find and follow the link to API in the left navigation under Account Administration
  3. Create a new key by clicking on the [Request Key] button.

  4. Copy the newly generated Integrator Key and make a change in your code to include the Integrator Key as described in DocuSign's API Documentation here.

You’ll use this same Key for your Production Account once your solution has been certified by our Certification Engineers.  Are you curious how you can prepare for certification?  See our DocuSign Certification Steps post for details.

Do you still have questions?  Feel free to contact your Account Manager to engage DocuSign Professional Services to help insure your solution’s timely deployment.

This issue is now fixed, this was a bug on the demo build.  You should be able to generate your integrator key once again...
